Daniel A. Carrero – President of House to Home Solutions as the
2025 PRO President’s Award Winner
Gaithersburg, MD, February 8, 2025—The Professional Remodeling Organization (PRO) Metro DC awarded Daniel A. Carrero, President of House to Home Solutions, based in Rockville, MD, the prestigious PRO President’s Award at its annual awards competition at their PRO Awards Gala. The PRO achievement awards are bestowed annually to recognize outstanding achievements by an individual and/or company that has worked to promote or enhance the professional remodeling industry. The President’s Award this year was given to Carrero for his unwavering contributions to the remodeling industry and to PRO. The award was presented by past PRO President John Tabor of Tabor Design Build, also based in Rockville, to recognize Carrero’s significant contributions to support the industry and PRO throughout Tabor’s presidential term.
Tabor unveiled Carrero as the recipient of the President’s Award to a room of approximately 300 gala attendees, introducing him saying, “This award is going to one of our newer members. In the short time they have been a member of PRO, they have accomplished more for our organization than most of us could hope to achieve in years. While serving as Chairman of the Membership Committee, this individual introduced so many innovative new ideas and initiatives to attract new members, that some people said, ‘Stop, this is too much! We can’t do all this at once!’” Tabor continued, noting, “This person did such a good job with increasing our membership that the board asked them to take on a new assignment for 2025 serving as Chairman of the Workforce Development Committee. I cannot wait to see the outstanding work that I know this individual will do while helping to train the next generation of PRO members.”
In accepting the award, Carrero thoughtfully remarked that “It is an honor to be recognized by my peers and by PRO, it is gratifying to know that my efforts to build a strong industry are working for us and allowing me to share insight that helps my fellow remodelers as well.”
