Role Overview:
The Project Manager (PM) is a key member of the company’s leadership team and a direct report to the company President. The position has a critical role in the achievement of company goals — specifically the company’s profitability and customer service goals.

The Project Manager is the on-site manager of the construction project and is charged with producing quality workmanship that is on schedule and on budget. The Project Manager is experienced and knowledgeable in all phases of production from foundations to trim-out. The PM has significant industry experience, high-level people skills and clear management capabilities. The PM also has the experience and ability to orchestrate labor, materials and subcontractors — all of which are crucial to the success of the project assigned to the PM.

General Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5-years of experience in residential remodeling
  • Clean, professional presentation
  • Current, legal work status in the United States of America
  • Current, valid clean driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Drug and background test check clear
  • Live within 25 miles from the office in Silver Spring, MD

  • Project & budget review
  • Project scheduling and resource coordination
  • Material acquisition
  • Subcontractor selection and management
  • Project management, workflow management, team building & evaluation
  • Change order management
  • Adherence to schedules and budgets that optimize company cash-flow
  • Customer relationship management and customer satisfaction
  • Keeping job site clean
  • Keeping Jobsite Safe
  • Project close-out including punch list and payment
  • Warranty work management
  • Project status reporting (to client and President)
  • Post project review and analysis

** The ideal candidate will be honest, self-motivated, reliable, a team player, clean-cut, professional, organized, detail-oriented, computer and technology literate and will have great people skills.
